The 1991 Camaro Z28

I bought the camaro about 2 years ago from a used car dealer. Some history was unraveled as I talked to the salesman. Taken with a grain of salt :) Appearantly one of the owners son's had gotten himself in over his head and needed to change vehicles. The engine and transmission had been rebuilt at 78k miles for running it without oil (duh). I found out later why there was no oil, the car is lowered and tends to bottom out if not driven carefully, and there are repairs to the oilpan. Guess that was cheaper than pulling the engine at the time, and you would have to do that to replace the oil pan. When I got my hands on it, it was at 87k+ miles. It is a 5.7L (350CU) V8 with a 700R4 Tranny. With the 3.42 limited slip rear end it produces 245hp/345ftlb torque. It has all the creature comforts including power windows, doors, mirrors, and seat, air conditioning, 4 wheel disk brakes, and later installed Alpine Stereo with 2 MTX amps pushing MTX 10's and the 4 Boston Acustic speakers all around. Current mods are K&N filters, Throttle Body Airfoil, Flow master mufler, underdrive pulleys, Throttlebody Coolant Bypass and a 1.5-2 inch drop.
